This CRUNCH program is desigend for my gym (or home gym) goers with busy schedules; those who love to strength train, but are in a time crunch!!! The program includes 3 lifts a week, all of which are dumbbell only and take around 30 minutes! Day 1 is lower body focused (hamstrings & glutes), day 2 is upper body focued (push & pull), and day 3 is lower body focused (quads & glutes)! When choosing weights my rule of thumb is to use a weight where your last 1-2 reps of each set are difficult (and probbaly a bit slower than your first few reps) but still doable with near perfect form...form is always key!! The lifts in this program progress over time in terms of reps and sets but it's up to you to increase the weights as you get stronger. You never want to feel like you're just going through the motions, even though this program is dumbbell only, it doesn't mean it should be easy! Push yourself with the weight selection!!!
This is also teh perfect program to supplemet daily walks with or even teh perfect strength training program to pair with running for all those training for half or full marathons!!!
